Hand-turned from English pear, this generously sized shallow bowl celebrates the natural character and history of the wood.

Small holes left by grubs that once lived within the fruit tree remain visible in the finished piece, giving the bowl its own individual markings and a glimpse of the life of the timber before it reached the lathe. Rather than hiding these natural features, they have been retained as part of the character of the bowl.

Finished with a food-safe finish, making it suitable for serving food or simply displaying and enjoying as a unique piece of woodturning.
